OUR STORY
Data Registry Services, LLC was created by Michelle Hackenberry and Eric Rice. Both Michelle and Eric worked behind the scenes in the relatively small but intense world of the Lysosomal Storage Disease Clinical Care Network (LSDCCN) created by Dr. John Barranger.
The LSDCCN, thanks to the strong belief in the importance and value of medical registries by Dr. Barranger, and the tireless work of Michelle Hackenberry, had a very robust registry participation record. Dr Barrangers commitment to accurate and complete patient participation lives on in Data Registry Services, LLC.
Outside of the LSDCCN, many patients in the Lysosomal Storage Disease world were being seen at non-participating registry sites. Michelle and Eric realized the need for a "cloud" based medical data registry site. This model would enable patients, regardless of location, to have their individual data entered into the appropriate medical registries for the benefit of all. With the help of the latest HIPPA compliant online resources they were able to turn that vision into a reality and Data Registry Services, LLC was formed.
Dr. Michael Joseph, of The Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Pain Care based in Dublin, OH, serves as the Principal Investigator for the Lysosomal Storage Disease registries with Data Registry Services. Dr. Joseph's strong and relevant credentials and intense belief in the value of medical data registries make him an indispensable partner on the Data Registry Services team.
